FAMILY IS IMPORTANT!

Family is important to God. Satan’s number one goal is to divide, conquer, and destroy the home. If he can destroy the home and family, he can destroy the children and young people.

Therefore, the best thing you can do for your family is fight, not with your family but for your family.

Nehemiah 4:13-14, reads, “Therefore I positioned men behind the lower parts of the wall, at the openings; and I set the people according to their families, with their swords, their spears, and their bows.  And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, ‘Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.” 

It is not easy to hold a family together or to raise children in this day and age.  Everything seems to be against the family and the home. But God gave the Jewish people a promise in Nehemiah 4:20 that we can also stand on:  “Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”  Therefore, we do not have to be afraid, because God promised if we would fight for our families, we would never fight alone.  He will fight for us.
