God Is Looking For People

“God isn’t looking for people of great faith, but for individuals ready to follow Him.”

Hudson Taylor

I'm thankful and I have a heart overflowing with gratitude. Freddie and Ninfa, two former addicts covered to God, started doing something out of the ordinary. Rescuing hardcore drug addicts and criminals they met in their outreaches in dark streets of San Antonio, Texas. When they arrived in San Antonio, Freddie and Ninfa had no welcoming committee. No building. No bank account. They were merely responding to God's call to reach the lost. It was a impossible task, but when they believed God they established a worldwide ministry that reaches the drug addict and their families.

Daily Bible studies and prayer meetings quickly resulted in many changed lives at Outcry in the Barrio Home.

No matter how bad it looks, there is always reason to hope. Today I had a talk about the One who is there to rescue us. Jesus Christ.

I myself having been a heroin addict and street level drug pusher was rescued and became born again the day I gave my heart to Jesus Christ! He gave me a new heart; He gave me a new mind; and my body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. If He can do this for me, He can do it for you! Go to the Lord, and He will create in you a new heart.
