God’s perfect indescribable gift is wrapped in John 3:16, God loved us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, so that we can have eternal life.

When the apostle Paul was writing to the church at Corinth about the joy and blessing of giving, he was overwhelmed at the thought of all that God has given us. So instead of trying to put it all in words, he just ended with, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15). The Living Bible says, “Thank God for his Son—his gift too wonderful for words!”

Many of the young people I meet in the streets, alleys, government housing blocks are entertaining thoughts of suicide and wondering why would God even create them.

There were so many times in my life when I ran from God, I hid in dark alleys, I became a junkie, filled with raging hate, but He never stopped pursuing me. His love is relentless, His patience endless. His mercy and amazing grace found me! ♥️

Never, never, ever quit on the drug addicts, first of all, Christ died for them and there’s hope in Him, and they have families that love them and need them! ♥️🙏🏼

♥️ Maybe you’ve come from a home where you were unappreciated by your parents. Maybe they never expressed their love toward you or even told you they were proud of you. Or maybe they showered their affection on an older or younger sister and forgot about you. And that has always hurt you through life.

Late last night in the streets of San Antonio, Texas, we were meeting precious people whom Christ died for. Did you know that there’s an epidemic of heroin addiction , fentanyl, ice and meth in our neighborhoods and destroying lives and people are overdosing in abandoned houses and slipping into eternity without God?

Me myself, Roman, I thank God, that He rescued me from sin and depravity as I lived in the streets as a junkie, shoplifter, and later on a low level heroin pusher.

Do not give up praying for your children, your sons and daughters even if they seem like a hopeless case. God specializes in impossible cases. Remember: GOD is STRONGER than heroin.

Pray for the team and pray for the beautiful people that we meet every night in these dark drug infested districts of our great city.

Not that person who has set himself or herself up as your enemy. No one is beyond the reach of God. So don’t give up. They may be in Satan’s control today, but they could be in Christ’s control tomorrow.

Keep praying for those people. Remember Jesus Christ is more powerful than Satan. The Bible tells us that the light — His light — shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it (John 1:5)

This is not a year to retreat or hunker down as darkness advances around us. It’s a time to take every opportunity we can find to let His light shine through our lives.
