Running the Great race!

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1-2

This was my memory verse this week and it kept ringing in my spirit. The author of Hebrews is saying that the, Great Race Is On.

Shake off the shame, the comparison, the guilt, the hurry, the heaviness.....whatever is trying to trip you up.

Fix your eyes on Jesus, He already ran His race perfectly and He's cheering You on from the finish line. You've got a lane uniquely yours. Keep looking to Him.

Keep running. Keep persevering. Keep looking to Him.

You're alone, and you're closer to the finish line than you think.

Don't look back. Don't lose your stride. Don't get sidetracked!
