God lives in you and He loves you and He has a unique plan for your life, so now you need to become better acquainted with Him.

Look at these four simple steps that lead you in the right direction.

1. Time with God-It's a wonderful privilege. Talking and fellowshipping with Him! You see people in the Bible praying early in the morning, mid-morning, three times a day, and even at midnight.

The Bible tells us, “Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

2. Time in God’s Word-The Word will guide you and encourage you. Flood your mind and spirit with scripture.

Tips for Bible Study

• Don‘t read haphazardly. Read strategically, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.

• Ask the Author, God to open your eyes and to illuminate you as you read His Word.

• Underline scriptures and passages that impress your mind and heart.

3. Time with people who will help you grow. People who are also hungry for the things of God. As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens another friend.

My mother always reminded me that my closest friends would influence the course of my life and even influence my choices and attitudes. She would say, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.”

Your church is a great place to find friends and companions that have a kindred spirit as you do!

4. Tell Others- Tell others of your salvation experience. My personal mission is to, Know Christ and Make Him Known to a Lost World.”

God uses people like you and to reach others for Him. Don’t be timid, His Holy Spirit will infuse you with wisdom and boldness.

The Apostle Paul told us, ”I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16
