We had a great time meeting people in the sub-culture of crime and drug addiction.
Many souls are coming into a NEW relationship with Jesus Christ.
Yes, the crime, the addictions, the shame, the fear, the loneliness is sky high, but Gods love is drawing people out of darkness and into a NEW LIFE in CHRIST. 2 Corinthians 5:17

We had a great time meeting people in the sub-culture of crime and drug addiction.

This week I met Gabriella, lonely, broken, rejected by family and now a hardcore addict at the age of 22, she received prayer and believed in Jesus the Son of God.

The Devil’s Favorite Words: “Give Up.”

The devil loves to whisper two little words into your ear: “Give up.” Why? Because if he can get you to quit it reduces the chances of your family coming to Christ.

Get closer to God, to church, to prayer and to the reading and studying of Scripture.

Don’t give up and don’t ever quit on your family, pray for their salvation!

The Bible is God’s Word. The Bible is more than just a book; it's alive and active, it’s a source of wisdom, guidance, and truth. It exposes sin, negative attitudes and anything that hinders our walk with Christ. It's a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.

When I heard the Gospel, I believed and God saved me from sin and rebellion, and from the wrath to come and I received the gift of eternal life!

The Holy Spirit Is In Charge Here!
In the early days of my ministry training I learned the Holy Spirit is a person. He is God. He is everywhere and all powerful! He is the church leader in this planet. He is the one who leads people to the cross for salvation. He convicts sinners of sin, pride and rebellion and draws them to Christ.

I say that when the leader of a drug addict minister recognizes his own human limitations and allows the Holy Spirit to lead the drug addict programs, they will THRIVE. The moment we try to do things by our own power we will fail.

Every pastor who works with alcoholics, street criminals, prostitutes, cutthroats, murders, con-men and dark hearts and minds should seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray that the gifts of the Holy Spirit will be in operation as he or her do this precious work with lost souls. It’s imperative to be Spirit filled and spirit empowered.

We are to recognize that the precious and beautiful person of the Holy Spirit, indeed is in CHARGE!

The drug addict program directors and pastors of churches will be more fruitful when they allow the Holy Spirit to do His work through them.

Social media tends to cause this when you see everyone’s posts at the park, a celebration, a new car, at the lake, at the beach!
This social anxiety is characterized by, a desire to stay continually connected with what others are doing.

It causes depression, anxiety, loneliness and even the thought of worthlessness.
What to do?
Be thankful.
Read a book.
Walk and breathe fresh air.
Listen to music which is uplifting and spiritual.
Listen to podcasts with bible sermons.
Call people and see how they are doing.
Volunteer.

So instead of trying to put it all in words, he just ended with, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15). The Living Bible says, “Thank God for his Son—his gift too wonderful for words!”

There were so many times in my life when I ran from God, I hid in dark alleys, I became a junkie, filled with raging hate, but He never stopped pursuing me. His love is relentless, His patience endless. His mercy and amazing grace found me! ♥️

I’m 100% Cured Now!

I was once lost in sin, despair and darkness!

Two men from Outcry In The Barrio in San Antonio Texas found me in the streets and they gave me a card and a prayer. The card read Jesus Can set you free from sin and heroin addiction! I called a few days later and entered the program and I was transformed from an animal I had become back into a human being! I thank God for His saving grace and His shed Blood!

Today, I can testify that I am 100% cured from heroin and nicotine dependency and I thank God for that freedom found in Christ!
