The Holy Spirit Is In Charge Here!

In the early days of my ministry training, I learned the Holy Spirit is a person. He is God. He is everywhere and all powerful! He is the leader of the millions of local churches in this planet. He is the one who leads people to the cross for salvation. He draws men and women to Himeelf. He convicts sinners of sin, pride and rebellion and draws them to Christ.

I say that when the leader of a drug addict minister recognizes his own human limitations and allows the Holy Spirit to lead the drug addict programs, they will THRIVE. The moment we try to do things by our own power we will fail.

Every pastor who works with alcoholics, street criminals, prostitutes, cutthroats, murders, con-men and dark hearts and minds should seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray that the gifts of the Holy Spirit will be in operation as he or her do this precious work with lost souls. It’s imperative to be Spirit filled and spirit empowered.

We are to recognize that the precious and beautiful person of the Holy Spirit, indeed is in CHARGE!

The drug addict program directors and pastors of churches will be more fruitful when they allow the Holy Spirit to do His work through them.
