Divine Power

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3

I've preached that the Holy Spirit has empowers me to witness, and that He sanctifies me. I've prayed in the Spirit, walked in the Spirit, and I truly believe the Holy Spirit is the power of God. I can pinpoint the place and time when Was filled with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been my friend and close comfort ever since. There are so many believers facing financial crises, despairing over children in rebellion. There is unemployment, drug abuse, loneliness, stress and anxiety about the future. We have to simply take our eyes off our own condition and the condition in our world. Yes there is misery and darkness all around us. Today, Believe the word he has given you. Paul is saying to the Corinthians back then and to us today that our deliverance comes from God not the government nor anyone else. He will rescue And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. 2 Corinthians 1:10
